SHIPPING EMISSIONS POSITION PAPER

14 March 2018, SUVA: The Pacific Islands Development Forum (PIDF) has published a Position Paper in regards to Shipping Emissions negotiations taking place at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). PIDF was represented by the Secretary General and Team Leader Strategic Communications to the 4th ABU Media Summit held in Nadi from February 5-6, 2018. There were multiple objectives related to PIDF’s participation such as engaging with the Asia-Pacific media organization and its Secretary General to identify possible areas of cooperation.
